Finally, a break!

From the moment we touched down, it feels like I've been on the run. But now, the weekend is wide open! Time to breathe! Time to finish reading my overdue book.

Not only has the week been busy, but it's been an emotional time too. My cousin Joe passed away while we were in Tennessee and was buried this past Monday in Mobile. And then this week, my Aunt Dorothy passed away. She's also in Mobile.

I'd love to have gone to be with both family gatherings but I'm too far away. That makes me sad.

Good news, we got the dates for the Regional library to close and the date we switch work schedules. The even better news for me is that my schedule flipped that allows me to be off for sure for the women's retreat my "sister" Linda asked me to go to.

But for every bright side, there's a down side and now I'm scheduled to work the Saturday of Memorial day weekend when my niece is getting married in Florida. I have to ask for it off now. I'm not sure what my chances are for that!

My prayer word for Lent is "Trust"
