Google Stuff

Google sure has lots of stuff. I'd already discovered Google Maps through my son.
I tried out lots of other things. (I'm home on my day off - and this is kind of fun)
Google Ride Finder was pretty interesting. There were 2 cabs in the Federal Way area when I looked. Not that I ever ride in cabs but maybe someday I might. It could come in handly at the library.
Google Transit was OK. The metro website is actually better because I can type in Green River Community College in Metro's search but not in Google's. It only wanted an address.
Google Suggest is interesting. I'm not sure how I'd use it. Maybe it would be one of those things where someone can't remember the name of a business and so we could type in ones it's not and maybe it would find it. I typed in my 3 children's names and it gave me one other name and that's all. I have no idea why. My kids :Jeremiah, Nathaniel, Rachel. They added Richard.
Google Trends was really interesting. I like the articles or whatever they were that it showed on the right side as things people found using those terms. It reminds me of the "game" that some of us have played who try to find a google search that has only 1 answer.
And on the other side, the established google things, I might set myself up woth google notebook. I can see that coming in handy.
So that's it for now!
